July Fourth events hosted by the Daughters of the Pioneers of Utah County include a morning train arrival, a city park reception, a banquet, and a fluent program. Dignitaries, clergy, and various committee members from multiple wards will attend and organize the celebration.
A noontime blaze near H. Osterbach’s buggy shed damaged a hay stack and part of the shed. Two boys started a small fire for apples, water shortages hindered firefighting, and the loss reached about $75. Citizens urge a city water system after the incident.
Enthusiastic Commercial Club gathering discussed committee reports. The house committee said club rooms will be papered and painted for occupancy by the next meeting. Prof Ball of the Agricultural College spoke on progress and urged concerted effort. A charter member class added Hower Kendall. A committee was formed to study water supply suppression.

Local notes report a social event for the Alpine Stake at Apollo Hall on Monday July 17 1905 with dancing and program details. Other items include a railroad accident injuring a fireman near Narrows, a July 4 marriage at Sager City, and various regional social and travel notices across Utah.
The report notes Andrew Fjeld won the trustee election with 120 votes, Robert Ghal 41, and W. B. Evana spoiled ballots. Fjeld was the primary nominee, with the event dated last Monday in the notice.
The annual financial statement notes expenditures for teachers pay, furniture and apparatus, library books, repairs, and improvements. It lists janitorial and other expenses with trustees each receiving $800 for the year and the secretary $180. The report covers 148 school days and a peak enrollment of si pupils, with a stated per cent of the local population enrolled.
The annual outing of the Tish County Musicline will be held at Lagoon on July 18 via the Balt Route under the auspices of the Ant Grove Concert Rally. Paynon Stile Band, Hoe Silver Band, Fork M. 1, A. Band, Prove Brass Se ane Be Silver Hake join for a grand concert and baseball meet at 6 o clock. Fifty four Utah Association members toured the Lewte and Exposition and lodged at the American Inn. The hotel, described as the Northwest’s largest, has six hundred rooms, ample dining space, and high service standards. Guests praised the location, cuisine, and accommodations as a major stop for Exposition visitors.
