Spanish Fork Station Returns to Sugar Refining Line

Auxiliary plant reports completion of season campaign at the Jumping Station with 40 000 tons of shots cut and mice pumped to Lehi thirty miles distant for reprocessing into sugar. Lehi factory runs smoothly and will not boost work to Folvcumg Wis for about thirty days longer than last year.

Sunday School Concert Receives Warm Reception

The Sunday Schools of four wards presented a program last night that pleased the audience. Profs McClellen and Welhe were warmly greeted, while the choir did good work and needs more male voices. A new choir seating arrangement proved an improvement.

Sylvester Bivans Undergoes Emergency Surgery

Matonday evening Sylvester Bivans age 18 son of W. Bivans was carried to the hospital for appendicitis. An operation was performed Sunday morning and latest reports say he is recovering nicely.

Changes at Tabernacle Reconfigure Seating for Visibility

For the past two weeks carpenters have rearranged the seats so each one can see the leader. The chair stand was lowered about seven to ten inches and brought forward slightly. Several people express satisfaction with the improvements.

D R Society Elects Officers at January Meeting

On January 1, 1907 the Th R Society met at Mrs 0 A Slade's home and elected six officers for six months. Bertha Obran as Regent Luli Bone as Vice Regent Margret Thorman as Secretary Achaal Schow as Treasurer. Refreshments were cake punch apples and mits. Visitors included Mrs May Holmatead Miss May Flolmetead and Mrs M May. Next meeting set for lone Gilebwist's home on January 25.

Wasatch Forest Reserve Grazing Districts Established

The Wasatch Forest Reserve in Murray Utah announces grazing districts to manage stock. Districts define cattle sheep and horse ranges across North Mountain Boxelder Creek American Fork Creek and Main Divide with one day cross Dry Creek driveway and one and a half day ridge crossing. Total grazing figures and season dates set by the Secretary of Agriculture require March 10 applications and May 1 to October 31 season for cattle and horses and May 1 to October 31 for sheep.
