Gustav A Hunger aged 74 died recently after arriving in Lehi in September and living there since. Born September 17, 1833 in Virna Saxony Germany he served many years as night watchman at People's Co op. Funeral at the Tabernacle Friday at 3 oclock.
Sunday meeting of the National Guards of Utah at Amn Fork opens an eight day program. The camp life maneuvers include athletic contests and drills. Governor and officials will attend Wednesday events marking the observance.
At Sunday evening’s close all church school students present formed a temporary organization. James M. Kirkham presided Lula Darter served as secretary with a committee including Dr. W Yo Hasler and W Tay for Wednesday’s social at the Commercial Club Rooms to establish a permanent group. Attendees included A By Anderson Loli Dorion Seely and Treas Ld Southwick James Brown S W Bow Dr Hasler Eva Merrill Violate Taylor and Mrs Id Roberts. Provo faculty Swenson and Kirkham attended and participated. Light refreshments followed and the group aimed to advance higher education.
