The Echo reports informal talks among Chelan county commissioners about issuing 200 000 to 250 000 in bonds to pay floating debt and fund road and bridge improvements. The piece argues for regional growth, notes current indebtedness, and supports prudent borrowing to build bridges on Wenatchee and Icicle rivers, urging economy and investment in roads to attract homeseekers and boost markets.
