Blaze at G N Oil House damages plant and burns foreman
A small blaze erupted in the stationery room of the G N oil plant Tuesday morning injuring F J Bauer who suffered facial, arm and hand burns while fighting the fire. The flames threatened nearby buildings but railroad workers contained the blaze. Cause remains unknown. Mr and Mrs John McCormick, formerly of the city, plan to settle here again. O S Bowen, a Peshastin valley fruit grower, was seen in town doing business with local merchants.

Auto Crash on Peshastin Road Injures One
On Monday evening near Peshastin a car driven by Sam Potter rolled back down a steep grade after the engine was left in gear. Mrs Schafer sustained a fractured ankle, others escaped unharmed though Mrs Schafer is bedridden for weeks due to the injury.

Pig Killing at the Congregational Church Lays Open Pig Banks
The pig bank opening at the Congregational church drew strong support Monday evening. Of 100 banks distributed around town fifty five were returned, yielding just over 70 dollars after breaking. Chas Schott of Frank's market acted as pig killer. A musical program followed with refreshments. Remaining banks are to be turned in at the Palace of Sweets or with Mrs H X Featherstone or Mrs Geo Hood.

Wife wounded When gun in husband’s hands explodes
Mrs. Ellen Taylor of Wenatchee was seriously wounded by an accidental discharge of a Colt automatic revolver in the hands of her husband, a Plough Hardware Co clerk. The bullet pierced her right breast and lung. she was fifty feet away at the time. Dr. McCoy said the wound is painful but not fatal. Mr. Taylor was overcome with grief.

Pioneer apple grower predicts record Wenatchee harvest
