The Odd Fellows lodge held a regular meeting Monday evening with third degree work and an oyster supper. Attendance was strong and the lodge reported ongoing growth with new members. Runaway Boys Fostered Then Sent Home to Family
The Cashmere Record and Wenatchee World report two runaways, Henry and James Miller, ages 18 and 12, found without shelter or food. They slept in a Cashmere barn, were later taken to Leavenworth and back, and finally sent to Everett to reunite with a sister for Christmas.
