Blackwell Dies in Cascade Orchards at 52
T. W. Blackwell died at his Cascade Orchards home last Thursday and was buried Saturday at Weenatchee cemetery. Father Daly of the Catholic church conducted the service. He was fifty two and survived by his wife and Charles, brother Alexander, and his mother. The family moved here last spring from Wenatchee.

Young forger nabbed here and bound over
Ralph Bell of Kent Washington passed a bogus check at J C Penney in Leavenworth last Friday and was nabbed by Officer Pratt. He was bound over to the superior court after a Saturday hearing. Bell, age seventeen, claimed an accomplice Richard McMahan. McMahan was arrested and discharged for lack of evidence. About all money paid on the check was recovered.
