Fire damages front awning at Model Cleaners
Sunday around 3:30 a blaze destroyed about half the front awning of Model Cleaners. Carl Schelin, the manager, reported hearing glass crack and assumed children were playing before seeing the fire. He used a extinguisher to hold the fire until the department arrived. He suspects a cigarette or smoking ember started it.
