Remsen Man Sanny Dies by Self Strangulation
John George Sanny, 65, longtime Remsen resident, killed himself Wednesday morning at his sister’s home by tying multiple neckties over a door knob and around his neck. Coroner S. H. Luken noted the act and described a prior experiment on strangulation. Sanny was a WWI veteran, past VFW commander, and member of the American Legion. funeral to be held Friday at St. Pauls Evangelical Lutheran Church. Survivors include several sisters and brothers.
