Major Aloysius J. Rolfes completed a 17 week Fort Benning course on March 17 and received his first commission on February 19, 1943. He served 28 months in the Pacific during World War II, has 44 months active duty and 8 years 4 months reserve time, and earned the Bronze Star and Combat Infantry Badge.
