Beta Sigma Phi Sorority in cooperation with Bescon Skyways Wet Dairy and Standard Oil sponsors a Le Mans Day at the local airport to raise funds for the Cancer Research Fund of Plymouth County. Free airplane rides offered for cancer donations with gates open from 10 a.m. to rain date June 13. Accident near Le Mars injures none as car rolls over
At 10 a m today on highway 3 about three miles west of Le Mars a 1952 Buick driven by Brown with Specishies and passenger Ralph Olgivie rolled over twice after hitting a soft spot on a new grade. Both occupants escaped with no injuries and were helped by passerby Chris Elerzberg and his son. The Lakeside Speashies Co owner O L Brown and Mrs Olgilve were en route to Akron when the crash occurred. Mr and Mrs O L Hemon of San Francisco are visiting Marcus at the Bindner home for two weeks.
