Car Crash Near Akron Leaves One Critical
A car carrying youths from Hawarden to Point went off the road two miles south of Akron late Tuesday. All but driver Merlin Pulscher, 19, were treated and released. Pulscher remained under observation for possible internal injuries and was released Wednesday. Others in the car included Charles Bush 17 Albert James Campbell 34 Kenneth Schieffen 17 and two girls. A funeral is set for Orle James Cooper, killed when his car struck a Grow Northern freight post near Mallon Dollar corner east of the Mallon Dollar.
