Charles E. Busch of 1305 Wall St Sioux City bled or froze to death after his car left the Merrill area road and into a drainage ditch. A mystery woman Anna Stanton claimed to seek help and later identified as Busch’s girlfriend here, tied to the wreck. Authorities, including Sheriff Scholer and Coroner Luken, recovered Busch’s body as the car sat partly submerged.

Ed Kleinhesselink, 66, died at Mitchell hospital after injuries from an automobile collision on November 23 near Mitchell South Dakota. The death was attributed to a heart attack.
