Sheriff Frank Scholer was notified on Easter Sunday that Francis Luke Norris aged 34 of Le Mars had returned to his parents home at Marcus. Norris, a public accountant employed by Cora Hilger, had been missing since March 9 and was last seen driving a 1952 Plymouth in Le Mars. His parents said he had a slight nervous breakdown and had wandered the country, often sleeping in his car.

Twelve Iowa national guard en listed men will get expense paid trips to Washington next month in return for recruiting new guardsmen. Two AWOL Le Mary police picked up two soldiers from Elsworth AFB Rapid City South Dakota on Sunday.
