Handmade window displays travel across a decade in Le Mars
A note on Erroll, now teaching music in Youngstown Ohio, who sent ten years of handmade window displays to Le Mars. A college friend who aided the first display served aboard the navy in the Gulf of Tonkin off Vietnam in 1969. He plans to spend Christmas with his parents as Photo by Dick Koerselman.

Pat Gaul a 20 year old Gehlen graduate and navy, left Pensacola Florida Wednesday morning in a Beach T-34 trainer. He radioed Columbia Missouri for a weather report. search planes were authorized as authorities believe he may have diverted or landed somewhere along the route toward Le Mars Iowa. He had instrument training and planned to follow the Mississippi River if lost, with family awaiting his return.

Le Mars Driver Charged In Two Car Crash
Edmund C Petersen, 66, and Thomas M Levers, 44, were involved in a Thursday afternoon collision at Plymouth Street and Ave NE. Police report says Levers, who stopped at a sign, pulled out into Petersen’s eastbound path. Petersen’s 1970 Volkswagen sustained about 150 in damage while Levers’ 1972 Chevrolet was undamaged. Levers was charged with failure to yield the right of way. Police Lt Wilbur Pet Sen investigated the case.
