Bank Seeks Dower Fight Over Blank Estate
Des Moines reports the Woolfehubler State Bank of Leavenworth Kansas has filed suit in the district court probate division to bar widow Rebecca Blank from dower in the estate of J. B. Blank who died last summer by his own hand. The bank claims the estate is worth about 90 000 contrary to an inventory listing 5 000. It alleges a pre death transfer of 85 000 to the widow to defraud creditors and suggests a deliberate plan behind the death.
