The American Red Cross ships 300 tons daily to Paris, builds a 100000 ton emergency warehouse, and has supplied 4500000 meals and hundreds of artificial limbs for French soldiers. Emma A Rubenbauer of Dillon and Ferdinand L Rohde of Marshalltown Ia wed Wednesday evening Dec 12 at the German Lutheran church in Dillon. Rev H P Dahl officiated with a double ring ceremony and Mendelssohn wedding march by Anni Brucklacher. Bridesmaids and attendants wore blue and white, pink and white carnations, and carna tions. A reception followed at the bride’s parents home with a two course supper and favors of pink and white carnations. The couple will reside in Marshalltown after Jan 10.

LeGrand Township reports a Red Cross sale amid heavy snow, drawing about 250 items and raising roughly $700, aided by Col Manship and Harry Brucklacher teams. Auctioneer faced lively bidding as townsfolk donated goods and dined.
