Lions on the loose in northwest Georgia after zoo escape
Six 400 pound lions escaped from Vernon Keown's private zoo near Ringgold Georgia. Four were killed within hours, a fifth shot early Tuesday, as authorities and residents faced a dangerous wildlife incident. Mrs Keown said vandals may have pried the cage door. She watched animals attack dogs and wolves from the house and allowed police to shoot.
