Long-Range Land Use Plan Approved by LMAPC
The Lawton Metropolitan Area Planning Commission approved a long range land use plan in a public hearing with no protests. The plan, ready last month, guides future streets sewers and zoning as Lawton grows through 1990. It recommends limiting commercial rezoning and preserving parks while framing county zoning within three miles of the city.
