Nesbitt Seeks 5000 For Appeal In Reapportionment Case
Oklahoma City AP Gov Henry Bellman sent a 5000 emergency fund request from Atty Gen Charles Nesbitt to the Emergency Fund Board to finance a U S Supreme Court appeal of a July 17 federal court order reappportioning the Oklahoma Legislature. The board plus state officials met to review procedures and other emergency needs including 13575 for a supernumerary judge. Also noted was a note on grunion spawning along Southern California beaches from March to August.
