Boren weighs killing Oklahoma Housing Trust over socialism
Oklahoma Governor David Boren said he may eliminate the Oklahoma Housing Finance Agency created under his watch. He faced attacks from three legislators calling the trust socialist as Rep. Ron Shotts filed a suit to block $28.8 million in revenue bonds. Senate moves to curb public trusts could bar housing trusts, while OHFA trustees delay bond sales pending court action.
