Lawton Comanche County Stand To Receive 2 Million From Mills Bill
Lawton and Comanche County would get over 2 million in the first year of a proposed five year revenue sharing plan. The Mills Bill allocates 1.60 million to Lawton and 599 thousand to Comanche County with total state and local shares outlined. The plan funds maintenance and operation costs for police fire inspection supervision and transit as well as capital projects like sewage systems and street work. The administration bill is noted as having fewer restrictions on expenditures than the House version.
