Comanche moccasin workshop teaches traditional crafts
The Comanche National Museum and Cultural Center partners with Comanche Nation College for a week long moccasin workshop taught by Eleanor McDaniel. Students pay 25 dollars with half supplies covered by the museum, using glove tanned cowhide as a beginner friendly material. The program follows a leggings class and aims to preserve tribal dress, beadwork, and fringe techniques with future beading sessions planned in May.
