Iraq moves to reinstate Baath loyalists in government
Iraq's prime minister and president plan a draft law to allow former Baath Party members, including security and paramilitary forces, to return to government roles after a three month immunity period. The measure aims to broaden inclusion, bypass de Baathification, and could face opposition from Shiite and Kurdish groups at the Arab League summit.
