Even Dogs Have Diet Problems
In California reports a veterinarian notes dogs on reducing diets often fail to lose weight because family members or neighbors secretly give extra food. One owner admitted giving a half dozen carrots daily, thinking they have no calories. Dr. Taylor advises hiding the canned food in a buttered dish and feeding in a double boiler or the oven to avoid added calories.
