PROVIDENCE R I AP Thomas Aquinas Malloy once asked visitors if they felt goosebumps about the presidential yacht Sequoia They dismissed it as just a boat After owning it six months Malloy sold it to a South Carolina investor for 286000 The 104 foot vessel had housed presidents from Hoover to Ford and was ordered sold by Carter in May 1977 it spent last summer berthed in Newport as a floating museum
