The committee approved directing contributions already offered to the Nations Foundation for Infantile Paralysis for Kenny’s medical costs.
The VFW plans a four day conference with about 500 members including national leaders such as Commander Cooper T. Hall of Memphis and state officials from Oklahoma. Attendees will include Rep. Carl Albert and Rep. Toby Blerris among others. Memorial services are set for Sunday morning with addresses by Rev. Clayton Valder and others.

A six year old girl, Marie-France Peren, daughter of a rural policeman, was killed by a grenade in Les Trembles while she played outside a grocery. A second grenade near the railroad station wounded a young European woman. The attack occurred about 20 miles south of Gran.
