Martha Mitchell Returns to Pine Bluff for Burial
Martha Mitchell will be buried Thursday in Pine Bluff Arkansas, where she spent her youth as a Southern belle. She died in New York of a rare bone cancer, leaving behind a strained marriage to former Attorney General John Mitchell and alimony disputes. Friends recall a life in the limelight and a outspoken, stagebound dreamer who faced public turbulence during the Nixon years.
