PSO Bills Rise Despite Lower Residential Consumption
Public electric use dips about four percent from 1975 levels yet bills stay high. Officials cite a 62 year rate increase approved in May 1975 and higher natural gas costs from the Anadarko Basin as main factors. Water use climbs in June and July with rising population and housing activity, while rainfall varies. May revenue from water collections exceeded the prior year by about eighty five thousand dollars.
