Poet Varish cherishes woodside life in Ohio farm
ROME Ohio AP 52 year old John Varish a poet and painter electrician and antiques dealer has returned to his boyhood love of the woods. He bought a cropless farm in Ashtabula County to escape Cleveland bustle and turns a barn into a showroom and then a grocery store into a shop. Varish writes verse to order for remodeling jobs and paints birds seen through field glasses while living close to nature.
