City Woman Dies Of Crash Injuries In Oklahoma
Comanche county records its second traffic fatality of the year as a Lawton woman dies in Clinton hospital from injuries suffered in a crash at the north city limits Saturday. The driver of the fatally injured vehicle is held for investigation in county jail. Five others are hurt in accidents Saturday night and Sunday. One hurt was Agnes Atteberry, 42, of 1807 S. th.

A motorboat on the Potomac River near La Plata Maryland capsized after speeding over windchopped waters, throwing seven aboard into the river and causing five deaths. Cooler air is forecast for Lawton and Oklahoma with a northerly wind subsiding tonight. At noon the Lawton area was fair with 50 degrees at 11 am. the Associated Press reports a mass of cold air moving into western Oklahoma will bring cooler temperatures state wide by tonight. Eleven Killed in B50 Bomber Crash Near Dayton
A four engine B 50 bomber crashed into a barn five miles southeast of Dayton at Wright Patterson AFB, killing eleven people including nine servicemen and two civilians. The fire engulfed the barn and spread to an adjacent unoccupied house. No survivors were reported and the aircraft was noted as belonging to the Air Development Center.
