Indiahoma staff report the Post Oak Mission church and cemetery will relocate to a 23 acre plot west of Indiahoma within the Fort Sill expansion area. The old mission, in operation since 1897, will be dismantled starting April while a modern masonry church 90 by 40 feet with a Sunday School room rises. Most graves move to the new site during March and April with some families choosing other burial options. Quanah Parker and other Comanche members are noted among the buried at the old site.

Serious condition after farm gun accident injures Fort Sill cadet
Jerry L. Peddy, 17, son of a Fort Sill warrant officer, was seriously ill in Fort Sill Army hospital after a shotgun discharge in a truck on a Cotton County farm. He reportedly suffered gunshot wounds to the left side and a broken arm while riding with his sister when the bumper jolt caused the weapon to fire.

Dockers Accept Three Year ILA Contract Deal
The International Longshoremen's Association and the New York Shipping Association announced a new three year contract ending a one day walkout by 45 000 longshoremen from Maine to Virginia. Wages rise 1 dollar per hour over the current 2 48 rate the first year followed by seven cent increases in each of the next two years. Plane Crash Near Strong City Kills Pilot
A small airplane crashed and burned in a pasture near Strong City Oklahoma killing the unknown pilot. A telephone operator reported the pilot had not been identified and went down with the aircraft. Strong City lies in Roger Mills county in western Oklahoma.

Two Missing Capital Girls Found In Truck
Two 11 year old girls Sally Kittrell and Shirley Ann Wisdom were found asleep unharmed in a truck bed in Oklahoma City after nearly 24 hours missing. Police traced their whereabouts after a late evening report from parents Roy Kittrell and Harrell Wisdom. They had left for a movie at the Mayflower Theater seven blocks away and were expected home by 4 pm.

Explosion Devastates Warren County Home Killing 71
Fire and a muffled blast ripped through the Katie Jane Memorial Home in Warrenton Missouri trapping hundreds. Sixty two year old building collapsed floors and walls as 19 bodies were recovered from the basement amid hopes for more victims. Coroner Dr. Knigge said the death toll would reach 71 with missing persons later identified as dead.
