Annual In Gatherings Bring Clothing and Toys to Community
The Lawton Woman's Forum and Salvation Army sponsored the annual Christmas in gathering. Over 500 clothing items were cataloged and sized by age groups, with 400 jeans and T shirts for boys bought from cash contributions. Dozens of toys and 300 dolls were added for distribution, ensuring each recipient receives a clothing item and a toy. Decorations featured a Christmas tree and floral arrangements at the Citadel. Mrs. Clifton Hunn cataloged items. Mrs. M. J. Carpenter hosted guests.
