Neutrino Research Deep Underground at South African Mine
Two miles underground at the East Rand mine in Boksburg, physicists from Witwatersrand University and partners set up a lab to trap neutrinos. The project cost over 1 million dollars and aimed to reveal the universe through a new kind of astronomy.
