House approves 16 million appropriation for Apaches
The House passed a supplemental bill granting 16,489,096 dollars to pay an Indian Claims Commission judgment for the Fort Sill Apache and two other Apache tribes. Funds must be approved by the Interior Secretary after appropriation, with about 9,600 Apaches total in the three tribes. Also, Lawton Sgt. Bert Seesaran will graduate from the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia.
