A unidentified woman believed to be the wife of a Fort Sill soldier died when her car struck a bridge over the Little Washita River on U S 277 about a mile south of Cyril late Saturday night. Patrolmen sought to identify the victim who was taken to Lawton hospital just before midnight.

Area To Get Cold Sunday
North winds Saturday evening ushered in a cool front lowering temperatures to 34 degrees by 9:30 p.m. Forecasters expect even cooler weather Sunday and Sunday night with possible snow in parts of the state. Central areas may see only partly cloudy, colder skies. Tipton Bond Vote Ready for $155,000 School
Tipton residents vote Monday on a $155,000 bond to build a new grade school. The project total runs about $200,000 with $50,000 in the building fund. The facility, south of the current high school, will have 11 classrooms, a lunch room and an auditorium. Polls open 2 to 6 p.m. at the present school lunch room.
