Giant squid filmed in deep Japan sea hunt
Tsunemi Kubodera and team from the National Science Museum captured Architeuthis, a 26-foot giant squid, on camera 3,000 feet deep off the Bonin Islands. The footage, taken in late October 2004, suggests the large creature attacks prey vigorously, challenging the view of it as lethargic.
