KDHE moves to revoke Airport Motel permit in Lawrence

KPL Gas to face $102000 fine over Topeka blast
The Kansas Corporation Commission tentatively approved a 102000 dollar penalty on KPL Gas Service for failure to follow gas pipeline safety rules after the March 29 Topeka explosion that killed one and injured another. The commission said KPL lacked a comprehensive cast iron pipe analysis program. KPL said it was reviewing the written order.
