Communist Party Origin Alleged by UMWA Series
A New York report purports to detail the origin of the Communist Party of America, tracing its founding to a May 15 1921 assembly on Overlook Mountain with 70 delegates. It alleges Moscow backing, internal factional split, and a drive to influence U.S. labor unions, plus extensive security and surveillance during the gathering.
