Obesity rates climb across states in new federal analysis

Laura Olson reports for Kansas Reflector that no state exceeded 35 percent obesity in 2012, while more than 20 percent of adults in every state were obese in recent data. Mississippi led at 39.7 percent, with Kansas at 35.3 percent and Colorado lowest at 24.2 percent.
