Lawrence city panel to weigh 5.9 million Maple Street pump station
Commissioners will consider a 5.9 million contract for a Maple Street stormwater pump station in North Lawrence. A 2005 study cited capacity limits causing frequent local flooding, with funding from a 0.3 percent sales tax approved in 2008.
