Leavenworth County advances plans on federal bio center site
Leavenworth officials continue pre planning for the National Bio and Agro Defense Facility at Fort Leavenworth area, awaiting the next federal cuts and a Homeland Security questionnaire. The site at 155th Street and Coffin Road remains in consideration alongside Kansas State University Manhattan. County focuses on roads bridges and culverts to handle future traffic if chosen.
