She was born Feb 14 1942 in Altus Arkansas and moved to Lawrence in 1959. She worked 28 years as day manager at Joe's Bakery and eight years as nurses companion with Douglas County Visiting Nurses Assn. She married Thomas Sonny Dolan Jan 9 1980 in Oskaloosa. He survives with three sons and five grandchildren. Memorials suggested to Douglas County Visiting Nurses Assn or Hospice Care in Douglas County. Condolences at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home site.
