Lawrence MySpace findings show counterculture ties and local sites
Lawrence's top MySpace listings reveal a music and counterculture focus with 25 of 40 items being band profiles or music event reviews. The No 1 page belongs to Ghosty, while anchors include Third Planet Imports and Fatso's. Anarchist sites appear, and nonmusic videos like tornado footage rank high. KU and city groups plan to expand social media presence to attract students and visitors.
