Photographer recalls chaotic night of Princess Diana crash
Paris AP report details a photojournalist’s account of the Pont d'Alma tunnel scene after the crash that killed Princess Diana and Dodi Fayed. Jacques Langevin, formerly with AP, describes being seized by police, released on own recognizance, and questioned amid manslaughter probes. He says he arrived at Ritz timing, photographed Diana earlier, then followed the car’s route to the tunnel where photographers faced police action and were disarmed.
