Hesper Academy Alumni Plan Preservation Meeting
Alumni of Hesper Academy invite all interested to a Sunday meeting on September 3 at 2 PM in Hesper Kansas to decide on repairs or sale. The historic building needs paint, paper, roof work, and door window locks. An offer of 300 dollars was made for the lumber. Established in 1884, the academy closed after Eudora high school opened in 1915 and the building has served as a community gathering place since.
