Marion Ohio October 31 Mrs Warren G Harding widow of the late president is reported improved after a period of exhaustion. She has been staying at the Sawyer home near here and is now resting with doctors advising complete rest following the death of Dr Charles E Sawyer and the absence of her former personal physician.
Health authorities moved to ban tetra ethyl gasoline in Philadelphia following similar steps in New York and other cities. Vehicle and fuel concerns prompted the action as officials urged stations not to confiscate or misplace tetra ethyl gasoline.
State Auditor Neyton A Turner registered more than 2 060 040 worth of Topeka Kansas municipal bonds. He noted many were refunding issues for long maturities and urged legislative reenactment to require serial issuance. He warned against repeatedly refunding the same issues to mask debt.
