London Oct 23 The United States has been offered 30000 dollars from the Dover patrol fund to erect a memorial honoring the cooperation of American and British navies in the war. The offer is unconditional and US officials will decide what form the memorial will take.
Professor W A McKeever issued a supplementary statement to clarify his stance on a $400 prize offered to the university fraternity that best demonstrates democracy and loyalty.
