On October 19 1781 British forces under Lord Cornwallis surrendered at Yorktown ending the American Revolution. Napoleon began retreat from Moscow in 1812. In 1950 UN forces entered Pyongyang during the Korean War. In 1960 Eisenhower imposed Cuba export embargo excluding medicine and food. In 1987 the Dow plunged 508 points or 22.6 percent.
