York County Man Faces Suicide Decision
Coroner Lee ter J. Sell said an aged York County man died of a heart attack while deciding whether to use a knife or a gun for suicide. Guy E. Watson, 79, was found slumped in a chair at his home near Fawn Grove with a pocket knife in one hand and a loaded rifle on his lap. He had told a neighbor he planned death by own action. The coroner stated the strain of making the decision likely caused the fatal heart attack.
